Make the next action clear without crowding the page.

Give the page a hierarchy
A learning dashboard should answer where you are, what to do next and how to resume. Use one prominent next action, readable text and meaningful grouping. A busy clinician should not have to decode six equally urgent panels.
Include all the states
Design loading, empty, error and completed states alongside the ideal screen. Use readable contrast, visible focus and text that explains the next action. Do not rely on color alone to communicate progress.
